Zunyi vocational and technical college was approved by Guizhou Provincial People’s government as a public school on August 10, 2001 and officially established on April 18, 2002. It is a full-time comprehensive higher vocational college integrating agriculture, business, science, engineering and arts, and a construction unit of high-quality school in Guizhou Province.
In 1956, Zunyi agricultural machinery school and Zunyi Agricultural Machinery Institute were merged to form Zunyi agricultural machinery school.
The college is located in the middle of Changzheng Avenue, Xinpu street, Honghuagang District, Zunyi City, covering an area of 716 mu. The library has a collection of more than 700000 books. At present, there are 10 teaching departments (departments), namely, Department of economic management, Department of modern agriculture, College of automotive engineering, Department of Humanities and tourism, Department of architecture and art design, Department of mechanical and electrical engineering and information engineering, Department of basic education, College of Marxism (ideological and political Education), technician college and College of continuing education. One belt, one road, 32 students, 16 students from all over the country, 11000 students. The red training center of Zunyi Vocational and Technical College is the National Vocational Education Alliance red training base of the National Higher Vocational Education Association. It is the platform and window for implementing general secretary Xi Jinping’s “inheritance of red genes and good Zunyi story”. At present, there are 535 teaching staff, and “double quality” accounts for 45% of full-time teachers. Among them, there are 8 doctoral students and 147 master students. There are 11 professors and 69 associate professors. At present, the school has 1 outstanding teacher of Huang Yanpei’s vocational education, 1 National May 1st Labor Medal, 1 provincial model worker, 5 provincial famous teachers of vocational education, 3 provincial excellent teaching teams, 4 second level talents of “15851” in Zunyi City, and 2 thousand level innovative talents in Guizhou Province.
With the motto of “learning and practicing, advocating morality and ability”, the college adheres to the school running philosophy of integration of industry and education, school enterprise cooperation, work study combination, and unity of knowledge and practice, closely centers on the Rural Revitalization Strategy and the “two centenary” goal, adheres to the red inheritance, and promotes green development. Moral education, moral education, promote the all-round development of students’ moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor. The college is deeply rooted in Zunyi, which is rich in red culture. Relying on the rich red cultural resources, it has formed a unique “Rainbow culture” education system with “red shaping the soul, blue application and green brilliance”. Over the past 60 years, in order to serve the local and urban and rural economic development, the university has cultivated a number of outstanding talents represented by academician Liu congqiang.
The school has successively won the national outstanding organization award for blood donation, “civilized campus of the whole province”, advanced unit of four innovations in comprehensive management of social security in Guizhou Province, “five good grassroots party organization” in Guizhou Province, and “May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee” in Guizhou Province. In the provincial and national skills competitions for students and teachers, the marketing major won the first place in 2017 and 2019 in the national skills competition, and the number of Higher Vocational Colleges in the 2019 National Skills Competition ranked 98th.

一、Introduction to Zunyi Vocational and Technical College
Zunyi Vocational and Technical College (ZVTC) is a comprehensive public school of higher learning, which was founded in 2001, with the approval of the People ’s Government of Guizhou Province (recorded by the Ministry of Education). It is now one of the provincial high-quality construction units.
Faculty:There are 535 full-time teachers, including 8 PHD owners, 147 master degree owners, 11 full professors and 69 associate professors. The college also has a group of Bi-Professional
teachers in specialties like accounting, engineering, law, economy, veterinary, translation and etc.
Programs: The college currently consists of 6 departments, namely, Economic Management Department, Modern Agriculture, Automotive Engineering School,Department of Humanities, Architecture and Art Design and Tourism and Computer Science and Electronic Engineering Department. The international education school is under preparation. It opens 32 majors to our international students, covering majors like accounting, finance, new energy automotive, hotel management, mobile internet, industrial robot, e-commerce, construction engineering, pet nursing and so on.
Achievements: The college is a civilized campus of Guizhou Province. The campus culture won the first prize of Guizhou’s teaching achievements. It has more than 50 provincial scientific research projects, 3 provincial excellent teaching teams, 2 provincial key professional groups, and 5 provincial key specialties, 1 Huang Yanpei’s outstanding teacher of vocational education, 1 National Labor Medal, 1 provincial model worker, 5 provincial excellent vocational teachers, 1 provincial-level Qianbei Mayang Collaborative Innovation Center, and 1 provincial-level training base in Economic Management Department.We have won more than 13 prizes in the national skill competition, and 16 first prizes in the provincial skill competition.
International Exchange and Cooperation：The college has frequent inter-school exchanges with Thailand, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and other countries. The college has admitted foreign students from 14 countries like Laos, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Morocco, Congo, Ethiopia, Benin,Nigeria,Sierra Leone, Côte d’Ivoire and Mongolia.

(二) Qualification review and acceptance
The college will review the submitted materials and organize the online interview, and then accept the excellent applicants. After admission, the university will issue “Admission notice for students studying in Zunyi Vocational and Technical College”.
（三）Visa application
After receiving the admission notice, the applicant should take the “Visa application for study in China” (JW202 form) to a local embassy or consulate to apply for an X-entrance visa for international students.
（四） Registration
Students should take a valid passport and the Admission notice for students studying in Zunyi Vocational and Technical College to register at the Office of Foreign Exchanges and Cooperation at the set time and go through the admission procedure.
